What exactly does the $175 + HST cover?
One shower joint or one bathtub joint — materials included. That covers full removal of the old silicone on that joint, mold treatment inside it, premium mold-resistant silicone, and cleanup. It is not a whole-bathroom package: the sink, vanity, a second bathroom, or having both the tub and the shower done are separate areas. We price each one on your free quote and confirm it with you before any work starts.
How much does caulking service cost in Toronto?
Our set price is $175 + HST for one shower or bathtub joint, materials included. Every other type of caulking — kitchen, sink, baseboards, trim, windows, exterior — is quoted individually, because size, access and condition vary a lot. Does the price include materials and taxes?
Materials are included — you don’t pay separately for sealant or supplies. HST is added on top of the $175, as it is on all services in Ontario.
Can you do my tub and my shower on the same visit?
Yes — and it’s usually the most efficient way to do it. Each joint is its own line item, so we’ll quote the second one for you before the visit. You approve the full amount before we start, so nothing changes once we’re on site.
How often should bathroom caulking be replaced?
Bathroom caulking should be replaced every 2-4 years, or sooner if you notice cracking, peeling, discolouration, or black mold growth. Showers used daily wear faster than guest bathrooms.
Do you remove old caulking before applying new?
Yes, always. We fully remove all old silicone before cleaning, treating the surface, and applying fresh premium-grade caulking. Applying new caulking over old is a shortcut we never take — it traps mold and fails within months.
Do you offer same-day caulking service in Toronto?
Yes — same-day and next-day caulking service available across Toronto and the GTA. Contact us early in the day for same-day bookings. A single joint is usually completed within about an hour.
What type of caulking do you use?
We use professional-grade, mold-resistant 100% silicone sealant for bathroom and shower joints. For kitchen and window applications we select the appropriate product (polyurethane, paintable acrylic, exterior-grade) based on location, movement, and exposure.
Do you remove mold as part of the caulking service?
Yes — visible mold inside the caulking line we’re replacing is treated as part of the service. For more extensive tile or grout mold, we offer a separate
mold removal service.
When can I use my shower again after caulking?
Standard silicone requires 24 hours of curing time before getting wet. We’ll tell you exactly when you can shower again based on the product used and your bathroom’s humidity. Don’t use the shower before the cure time — the new caulk will fail.
Do you do exterior caulking around windows and siding?
Yes — we caulk window frames, door frames, siding seams, brick-to-frame transitions, dryer vents, and hose bibs using weather-rated, paintable sealants designed for Toronto’s freeze-thaw cycles. Exterior work is best booked April–October and is quoted per project, since size and access vary.
Do you do kitchen caulking?
Yes — backsplash-to-counter joints, countertop edges, sink rim sealing, and around the dishwasher base. Kitchen caulking uses different products than bathroom (often clear or colour-matched silicone) and is quoted separately from the $175 bathroom joint.
Do you do baseboard, trim and interior window caulking?
Yes — baseboard-to-wall gaps, crown molding seams, and door and window casing, using paintable acrylic caulk for a seamless painted finish. Especially common before interior painting. Quoted per project or bundled into a larger paint job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — $5M commercial liability insurance and WSIB coverage. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your condo building or landlord. Background-checked team members.
