The pictures on the instructions don’t tell you which way that one weird dowel goes. We’ve assembled the same furniture 100 times. We know.

We've Done This One Before

Every IKEA model, every Article sectional, every PAX configuration. We know which pieces look identical but aren’t. We never end up with extra screws.

Right Tools

Cordless drill with proper torque settings, all sizes of Allen keys, ratchets, levels. We don’t over-tighten (which strips particle board) or under-tighten (which makes furniture wobble).

Wall Anchoring Included

Tall furniture (wardrobes, dressers, bookshelves) is dangerous unanchored — especially for kids. We anchor to studs or concrete using the brackets provided + appropriate hardware.

Floor Protection

We work on a moving blanket or floor protector to prevent scratching. Hardwood, vinyl, and tile all safe.

Honest Time Estimates

We tell you upfront how long the assembly will take based on what you bought. PAX wardrobe: 1.5-2 hrs. Sectional sofa: 1 hr. Costco kitchen storage: 45 min. No padding.

Disposal Optional

Want us to break down the boxes and dispose of packaging? Yes, included. Just leftover styrofoam and that small bag of extra hardware (always extras — that’s by design).

Platform beds, storage beds, bed frames + headboards. We anchor headboards properly — not just leaning against the wall.

Dressers + Chests

All drawer slides aligned, handles installed, fully levelled. Anti-tip wall anchoring included if hardware is provided.

Desks + Office Setups

Standing desks, L-shaped desks, full home-office setups. Cable management trays installed where applicable.

Painting FAQ

Common Questions

How long does furniture assembly take?
Depends on the piece. Standard chair or small desk: 30-45 min. IKEA PAX wardrobe (single section): 90 min. Sectional sofa: 60-90 min. L-shape office desk: 60-75 min. Multi-piece visits scale linearly — bundling saves time per item.
Do you bring tools?
Yes — everything. Cordless drill, level, all sizes of Allen keys (metric and imperial), socket sets, hammer, tape measure. The Allen keys that come with IKEA furniture aren’t very good — we use proper tools to avoid stripping screws.
Will you anchor furniture to the wall?
Yes — highly recommended for tall furniture (wardrobes, dressers, bookshelves over 4 feet) especially in homes with kids. We anchor to studs when available, drywall anchors as backup. If you're missing the anchor hardware that came in the box, we have spares.
Can you carry the boxes in from my car or porch?
Yes — we'll move boxes from your delivery location to the assembly room. For very heavy items (large PAX boxes can be 90+ lbs) we use proper lifting technique and equipment. Tell us in advance if there are stairs.
Will you dispose of the packaging?
Yes if you want. We break down cardboard, bag styrofoam, and pile it for your next garbage/recycling pickup. For larger furniture deliveries, we can take packaging away (small disposal fee depending on volume).
What if I'm missing parts?
We’ll let you know immediately and recommend next steps — usually contacting the manufacturer for a replacement. We don't 'make do' with missing hardware because that's how furniture fails.
Do you do furniture from Facebook Marketplace / second-hand?
Yes — especially common for pre-assembled IKEA pieces that need to be moved and reassembled. We disassemble (carefully labelling parts), transport if needed, and rebuild. Hardware sometimes needs replacement for older pieces.
Can you assemble outside in winter?
We can — but it’s often easier inside. Recommended: assemble outdoor furniture indoors and carry it out, especially in cold or rainy weather. We’ll plan the best approach with you.
Do you mount accessories like soundbars on assembled furniture?
Yes — if it’s built into the furniture (TV stand wall, headboard mounts, etc.). Wall-mounted TV with stand assembly underneath is a common combined visit. See our TV mounting page.
Will you place furniture in the final spot in the room?
Yes — we assemble and then position. If you change your mind after assembly, we can shift items (with felt pads or sliders to protect floors). Tell us your plan up front so we assemble in the right spot.
