Do you charge for estimates or quotes?
No — all RenoHeal estimates are 100% free with no obligation, whether it's a small handyman job or a full kitchen renovation. We'll discuss your project, give you a clear price, and let you decide.
How is renovation pricing different from handyman pricing?
Handyman work is billed hourly ($90/hr, $150 minimum) because jobs are usually short and well-defined. Renovations (kitchen, bathroom, basement) get a custom project quote based on scope, materials, and timeline — usually delivered after a free in-home consultation.
Do you accept credit cards and e-transfers?
Yes — we accept Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, and cash. Payment terms are discussed when you book; small jobs are usually paid on completion, while larger renovations may have milestone payments.
Are materials included in your price?
For handyman jobs, you typically supply the materials (the TV, the faucet, the fixture, etc.) and we provide labor + tools. For renovations, materials can be included in the project quote or supplied by you — whichever you prefer.

Do you offer same-day or emergency service?
Yes — same-day handyman service is available across Toronto and the GTA depending on the day and how loaded our schedule is. For urgent jobs like active leaks, broken locks, or electrical issues, call us first thing in the morning for the best chance of same-day.
What hours are you available?
Our team operates Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Sunday and after-hours availability is possible for urgent or pre-booked work. Bookings made earlier in the week typically get the best scheduling options.
How far in advance should I book?
Small handyman jobs can often be booked the same day or next day. Larger renovations (kitchen, bath, basement) usually need 1–3 weeks lead time for planning, ordering, and scheduling. Peak season (spring/early summer) books up faster.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Yes, no problem. Just give us as much notice as you can — ideally 24 hours — and we'll happily reschedule. No cancellation fee for residential bookings.

Can you mount a TV on a concrete wall?
Yes — concrete TV mounting is one of our specialties. We bring the right hammer drill, masonry bits, and anchors. Concrete mounts usually take 60–90 minutes and the bracket sits rock-solid. See our TV mounting page.
Do you do plumbing and electrical work?
We handle minor plumbing (faucets, leaks, fixture swaps, P-traps) and minor electrical (light fixtures, switches, outlets, ceiling fans). For full rewires or major plumbing installations that require permits, we'll refer you to a licensed contractor or coordinate one through our network.
Do you handle commercial properties too?
Yes — we serve offices, retail stores, restaurants, and small commercial spaces with handyman and renovation services. We can also arrange ongoing maintenance contracts for property managers.
How long does a typical job take?

No — we bring all our own tools and equipment. You typically supply the item being installed (the TV, the fixture, the cabinets). For renovations, we handle all materials and tools through the project quote.

For our core service area (listed above), there's no separate trip fee — it's built into the standard rate. For locations on the edge of the GTA or beyond, a small travel charge may apply; we'll always tell you upfront before booking.
Do you work on condos and apartments?
Yes, we work on condos, apartments, and townhouses across the GTA. We're $5M insured and WSIB covered — both usually required by condo boards. We can provide certificates of insurance to your building management on request.

What happens after I request a quote?
Within usually 1–2 hours during business hours, our team reaches out by phone or text. We discuss your project, confirm pricing or schedule a free in-home consultation for larger jobs, and book a service slot that works for you.
Do you do clean-up after the job?
Yes — cleaning up is part of every job. We bring drop cloths to protect your floors, contain dust where possible, and remove all debris and packaging when we leave. Your space should look better than we found it.
Can I get a photo or written summary after the job?
Absolutely — many of our team members document before/after photos and a brief written recap, especially for renovation work. Some of those make it onto our Our Work portfolio (with your permission).
